Managed by the Head of Marketing and Communications, you’ll be responsible for planning compelling marketing and communications across varied communication channels. You’ll lead on storytelling, media activity, internal communications and producing updates on St Catherine’s work and services.
Ideally, we’re looking for someone who:
- Has significant experience of proactively securing media coverage, ideally in a charity or healthcare setting
- Is a confident interviewer, skilled at drawing out and sharing stories
- Is an excellent copywriter, able to adapt their writing style and repurpose content
- Has the resilience to work with patients and their families facing end of life and bereavement
- Has experience of producing written and filmed experiences and knowledge of consent
- Understands internal communications
- Has experience producing content to a brief and deadlines.
In this rewarding role, no two days will be the same. One day you might be helping a patient share their experience of our hospice’s care or working with Fundraising colleagues to launch our next big fundraising event. The next, you might be responding to a last-minute request for a radio interview, or supporting colleagues in the transition to our new, larger hospice.
This hands-on role gives you the opportunity to make a real impact and support the future direction of St Catherine's, whilst seeing first-hand the difference the hospice makes to local people facing death or bereavement.
