Job Description

The role:

  • Reports directly to the Community Fundraising Manager
  • Working with a team of fundraisers across East Anglia and supported by our fundraising volunteers.

Focus:

  • Engaging with communities across Cambridgeshire and West Essex to raise money and awareness
  • Proactively seeking out new opportunities, researching and approaching for support
  • Coordinating & running fundraising events

Other responsibilities:

  • Supporting community events, delivering presentations
  • Reporting on budgets for your area and keeping an up to date pipeline of expected income
  • Maintaining accurate supporter records, using our database to best effect
  • Stewardship is a key part of community fundraising; through telephone calls, emails, letters, meetings and presentations you will correspond with a diverse range of fundraisers.
  • Developing an understanding of how our supporters like to be individually communicated with in order to build strong relationships.
