We are looking for an individual that thrives on delivering exceptional customer care to our supporters who dedicate their own time and efforts to raising money for the charity and championing this vision through a very dedicated Support Care team. Job Description

The role requires an individual who has the ability to build and deliver a plan of creative and personalised donor stewardship, understanding what makes our donors tick, and engaging them in the charities activities for years to come.

This role also supports the development of our in memory income, legacies and lottery, which are recognised as niche forms of income generation, yet are major income contributors within the department.

Training will be provided to support with key areas of the role, however, this person must poses a unique mix of organisational skills, be familiar with databases and data analysis but with the ability to understand the empathy and emotion that sits behind these income generation tools. Building strong professional relationships is key.

We run our own lottery with 12,000 players a week. We support with the nurturing of relationships from donations received from the community, through remembering a loved one from a funeral collection, or supporting somebody’s lasting gift through their will to support the Hospice. We host in memory events and campaigns such as our Light up The Lake and Twinkle Twinkle appeals, which provide an opportunity for our supporters to connect with their loved ones.

You will work amongst a fun and dynamic team, led by the Head of Fundraising, where laughter and collaborative working is always on the agenda!
