Isabel Hospice Ltd is a local charity providing free, compassionate care and support to adults with life limiting conditions and their families and carers across eastern Hertfordshire. Our vision is to provide outstanding palliative care for all. The Trustees of the charity are responsible for giving direction to Isabel Hospice and ensuring it meets its objectives effectively. They are concerned with the policy, strategy and monitoring of the organisation; day to day management is delegated to paid professional staff who report to the Board of Trustees.

Bolton Hospice has a new opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing & Communications team. Our consultant-led team of doctors, nurses and other professional staff provide expert care and support for local people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses and their families, in the hospice and at home. Our patients and their families tell us that Bolton Hospice has not only provided care but given them compassion, dignity and respect when they needed it most. Everyone at the hospice has a part to play in providing excellent care and support for local people facing life-limiting illnesses and their families.

This post, alongside another Events Fundraiser will take responsibility for managing some of the hospice led events whilst also promoting third party events focusing on enhancing event experience and increasing net contribution.

Working alongside the Community Fundraising Manager the role will be responsible for being proactive in engaging local communities to maximise income generation by developing a plan to gain more supporters. You will be responsible for growing income by developing and maintaining relationships with volunteers, schools and other community groups.

St Clare Hospice is a special place to work, and we are looking for a special person to join our marketing and communications team to support the fantastic work our income generation team undertakes. This is an exciting time to be joining the St Clare Hospice as we expand both teams. We are seeking an experienced candidate with a great understanding and knowledge of individual giving, who shows great leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across teams to maximise opportunities to achieve organisational growth. The role will manage the Donor Acquisition Fundraiser and In-Memory Fundraiser and be responsible for the overall delivery of our individual giving strategy.

As our Marketing & Communications Manager you will manage all communications and marketing activity for our charity and manage a small and friendly team. You will provide oversight for the planning, development and delivery of internal and external communications including PR, media relations, digital channel management, as well as brand and reputation management.
